Mission brief: As part of my Web Design Junior course, we were given a fun, unofficial assignment: create a personal website to introduce ourselves to our mentors and fellow aspiring designers.
Objective: Intrigue my peers and mentors while avoiding the dreaded "boring self-introduction" syndrome.
Well, well, well. If it isn't you, dear visitor, stumbling upon the scene of my greatest caper yet - designing my own website! I know what you're thinking: 'Yunona, isn't this just shameless self-promotion?' And to that I say... absolutely! But with Gravity Falls references and mystery boxes involved, can you really blame me?
This project was my chance to show off not just my design skills, but my personality. From the header with illustration, to the bilingual content that proves I can say 'User Experience' in at least two languages, every element was crafted to give you a peek into the wonderful world of working with yours truly.
This project taught me that sometimes the best way to showcase your skills is to simply be yourself - especially if 'yourself' includes a cartoon alter-ego. And more importantly, I had an absolute blast creating this site! So explore it, and if you find yourself amused, or just slightly confused, my mission is accomplished!
